Tracing Assessment for learning Capability in Teachers (TACT): Initial teacher education and beyond
The TACT study aims to investigate how student teacher candidates develop their ‘assessment literacy’ over the course of their teacher education programme and into the first one/ two years of their classroom practice as beginning teachers. When we use the term assessment literacy we mean the ways how teachers understand to construct, administer, and score reliable assessments and communicate valid interpretations about their student learning. This study is being conducted across a number of countries to understand the nature of the programmes used by different countries/ states/jurisdictions.
